Martin Baker is an author, screenwriter and editor. Formerly a City lawyer, newspaper editor and columnist, he is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Meltdown, available on this site, is the first in a trilogy of novels set against the backdrop of crisis in the world financial, economic and political systems. Meltdown's a sequel, Version Thirteen. Version Thirteen, is published by Penguin Random House. The third in the trilogy will be published by Wet Zebra.
Martin is the authorised biographer of David Moyes, the football manager. Publication date as yet unfixed.
Other books include the business bestseller, A Fool And His Money (Orion), a collection of satirical essays, and the forthcoming The Widow Hunter, the story of his (mis)adventures in Hollywood is being published in serial form, with the first two major excerpts available via Wet Zebra.
